In 2023 South Norfolk & Broadland District Council made a landmark move into new office space, combining the two entities into one state of the art facility.

Problem

As a trusted technology advisor for the council Insight UK were approached to fulfil requirements identified by the client. Due to the involved nature of the installations, Viewpoint-AV were approached to support the project and bring specialist knowledge and experience to the team. Solutions were subsequently designed in consultation with the client & installed with equipment built to a platform system design, creating familiar and easy to use systems in each room. The result is a highly productive workplace with all technology installed to enhance the Council’s ways of working without disrupting existing staff practices or workflows.

Solution

The new office building contains an impressive Conference Centre. This valuable multi-purpose venue functions with Video Conferencing, Presentation, Broadcasting & Streaming facilities.

The space features a highly technical solution delivered with minimum fuss, on-time and within budget by our professional project team. All our installations are complimented with handover, training and on-going support services. Presentation events taking place in the space can be recorded and streamed to wider audiences via services such as YouTube, as well as being integrated for MS Teams & Zoom video calling. With a clear and concise control panel, users are able to set-up a complex solution with ease, requiring minimal technical support. This provides the Council with substantial long term cost savings.
